The Method

The ALC Method.

Built in London. Practised worldwide.

London-trained. London-led.

ALC Education was founded in London, inside a city that has shaped the craft of cutting for generations. The academy was built by educators who trained on London floors, under London standards, and who carried that discipline into a curriculum built for the profession at large.

“London-trained” is not a place of origin — it’s a way of working. Precision before speed. Technique proven under scrutiny, not assumed. Every principle in the ALC Method traces back to a floor where the work was watched, corrected, and earned.

How we teach

Three principles.

Technique before theory.

Theory exists to improve what your hands can do. Every lesson is designed to change the quality of your work, not simply increase what you know.

Work is earned.

No tap-to-complete. Upload your work and an educator scores it, with written feedback and annotations directly on your photos. Progress is demonstrated, not assumed.

A teacher, when it matters.

Questions shouldn't wait weeks for an answer. Raise a hand from inside any lesson, and a named educator replies personally, usually within a day.

Taught locally. Practised globally.

Working professionals everywhere are studying the ALC Method — sharing their work, getting inspired, connecting around the craft.
